Light Show captures the energy of a thunderstorm. For me it is also a memory of a night in Spain looking down across the hills and experiencing the most enormous flashes of forked lightning. It really was quite the show!
It is a semi abstract mixed-media piece suspended using stitching within the mount. A range of techniques have been used to create the image including: collage, pigment wash and wire drawing and is part of my series investigating suspending materials.
The work is framed in a bespoke white washed wood frame to complete the contemporary feel and every care is taken with packing - the artwork will arrive bubble wrapped in a double walled card box.
