When the summer nights are warm it is such a joy to be outside as it becomes dark. Dancing in the Moonlight is a piece from my Places series. It is reminiscent of an evening spent with friends with impromptu dancing on our deck under the our new fairy lights. I’ve used intense colour pigments to suggest the light seeping into the inky dark, whilst the swaying plants, pattern work and decorative stitching capture the celebratory mood.
